This and That

First of all, I'd like to welcome all my new followers. So happy to have you here! I finally feel almost legit. Just finished level 2 of the 30 Day Shred and I have to say it is actually getting easier. I might actually be ready to move on to level 3 next week. After that, I'm on the hunt for my next torture workout video.
I'm never looking in the right spot

Poor Miss Em is not feeling her best. She has a cold and as soon as she laid down for bed, she started hacking up a lung. She's in bed doing her best old man impression now. Strangest thing, ever since she was born, she has coughed like an emphysemic old man. We have the humidifier running and I put Vick's on her chest. I hope she gets some sleep. Not gonna lie, that is partly selfish because I hate getting up in the middle of the night with the kids. I like my sleep too much.

I am getting excited about our new eating plan. I plan on going grocery shopping tomorrow and hit up Hy-Vee's sales. We have also talked about trying to go to our local farmer's market on Saturday to pick up some fruits and veggies. In case you missed it, Jason and I are going to try out the Paleo Diet. I found this fabulous and well written article about the Paleo way of eating and I discovered a great new website in the process. Win-Win!

Jason was craving something sweet after dinner and we didn't have any fruit, however, we did have a chocolate pound cake mix. Guess we have to get rid of it somehow, so he mixed it up. I refrained from having a piece (go me), but Emmeline got to lick the spatula.

Before I end my ramblings, I just want to take a minute to say that I really do have the best boyfriend ever. He is so supportive of my weight loss journey and he is constantly telling me how proud he is of me. He also loves to tell me that I'm smoking hot. (squee) I don't always feel that way, but it is so nice to hear and to have all the encouragement. Now, he has decided that he wants to get healthy and lose weight. I'd like to think that I motivated him in some small way, but everyone has to make that decision for themselves. Anyway, he is the love of my life and I couldn't ask for a better man to be with.

So, what are you most proud of ? Anyone starting any new projects?
